So Many Weddings, So Much Wedding Inspiration for Philly Brides
Wedding Hair and Makeup Advice and Inspiration
Owner of Crimson Hair Studio and Master Stylist Jen:

Francesca: I love a bridal look that is soft and swept, but of course secure enough to hold up on the dance floor! This bride’s hair was the perfect texture and length for this look.
Becky: Leading up to the wedding, it is helpful for brides to find pictures of inspiration and be open to suggestions that would be best for their hair type and texture. A common misconception is that brides have to grow their hair out to a ridiculous length when wearing their hair up or down for their wedding. For an updo, hair should be at least shoulder length. If it isn’t, no problem! Extensions are always a solution to provide length or even fullness.
Another suggestion for brides is to consider color to give them dimension. Hair color with dimension will show hair style detail better than a solid hair color.

Jeanne: The fun thing about weddings is that no two brides are the same! Once you decide on your venue and overall look, the dress, hairstyle, accessories should mirror the decor, while letting your personality shine through in minor details. Whether you choose rustic in a barn with a simple dress and flowing locks, or a country club wedding with a classic feeling and a structured updo, it’s fun to put the pieces together and make your perfect day. Between etsy, Pinterest, Wedding Wire, and The Knot, there are many resources for brides to create an awesome party.
Don’t stress or compare yourself to others, make sure your own personality shines through, and don’t forget to have fun!
