Crimson Hair Studio’s Favorite Things of 2018
(And our 2018 Client Gift & Holiday/New Year Promotions!)
This December is all about shimmering & shining our way straight on through the holiday! We want to keep everything as pretty as possible, with extra sugar, spice, & everything nice!
So, without further ado, may we please present: Crimson’s Favorite Things, 2018!
“Crimson’s clients are the best & we love sharing the delicious foods, talented artists, & innovative creativity within our community!” says Jen Colloton-Eberwein, Crimson Master Stylist and Owner.
“My favorite thing of 2018 is Le Bus Bakery, right around the corner from Crimson at their Rittenhouse Square location. I love their healthy, delicious lunch options: my go-to is their Lebanon Sandwich with homemade hummus, as well as their tuna salad.”
Danielle loves the work of her client Lauren Rider, maker of Rider Ceramics! The pottery artist’s signature black underglaze & radial designs are eye catching & original! Catch her at her location at Bok Building for selling event MADE on December 15!
Dani also loves her friend’s at Ouchkick‘s graphic glass work!
Laura is living the dream in South Philly! She stops by Occassionate on East Passyunk for holiday shopping, “it’s full of fun cards and great gifts for anyone on your list!”
Last year, Francesca was gifted a bra-making workshop with our friend, client, and Crimson Hair Share Winner Maddy, owner & beautiful brain behind the stunning, sweet, sexy lingerie brand
Madalynne Intimates. Francesca had a fantastic experience making her own special, extra fancy bra & totally recommends gifting the experience!
Becky & Jeff bought a new home: congratulations & best of luck! Their agent was a total rockstar: “Jen Singley (homesweethomephl) made the home buying process such an enjoyable experience. As a Philadelphia resident of almost 10 years, Jen has a wealth of knowledge of both the city and suburban market. She always answered our calls for any questions we had, and was extremely diligent when negotiating our offer. I would recommend her to anyone!”
Sarah says, “Cook Rittenhouse is where I got my most unique gifts this year. They are a test kitchen where you can go take classes, & also have an amazing cookbook selection for a physical gift to go with the gift of an experience.” Check the shelves for her inspirational mom Joy’s cookbook, “Tree of Life”.
Jeanne recommends Open House on 13th and Sansom. “Open House is one of my favorite shopping destinations for last minute gifts & stocking stuffers. Their unique gifts, many from local artists and vendors, are perfect for person who has everything. From unique Philadelphia memorabilia to kitchen gadgets & everything in between, this store is one of my favorite not-so-hidden gems!
Sherry has her parties catered by Dads Stuffings in South Philly. This freshly prepared, authentic Italian food (meaning Grandmothers recipes) is family-owned & every meal absolutely delicious. Dad’s Stuffings been serving the community at 1615 W. Ritner St since 1923! AMAZING.
Buddy’s friend & client Lisa is the sweetheart making Good Good Chocolates: gorgeous confections made in small batches using the finest ingredients. “I have loved everything I have tried. Always over the top delicious! They are definitely worth the indulgence!”
Not only is Samantha a superb stylist, our soulful sister has also undertaken her yoga teacher training at Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness.
Two of Sanctuary’s teachers are Crimson clients: Samantha takes care of Clio, & Buddy, Matt!
Em is living the mindful, stylish, rock & roll life! She practices Kundalini Yoga with her beautifully curly client Lori, as well as visits Soup Kitchen Cafe on her days off to eat, sip coffee, & collect her thoughts.
Find Em shopping for unique fashion at Buffalo Exchange, “Buffalo Exchange is always filed with great clothes. I love supporting recycling of clothing & second hand items because you are helping the environment by not buying fast fashion.”
Em also moonlights at Union Transfer aka the best music venue in Philly.
Lisa is super glamorous & like the sexy star she is, she let us in on her aesthetic secret: Christina Super Skin.
But also, a couple of cold ones from Lunacy Beer Company!
Ryan is one of our talented Make-Up Artists, as well as a Salon Assistant. He’s urging everyone to hit up Mac Mart on 18th Street! On his days off he loves to get lunch, walk around, & sit in Rittenhouse Square & take it all in!
Jillian’s daughter had the most adorable, original, unforgettable photo session with Santa by Gia Merissa Photography.
And check out Barn Doors by Ray, all custom & handmade; their Christmas Tree stands look fantastic (& keep the pets from drinking the water!)
BlckBts, is our Marketing Coordinator Dena’s favorite fashion accessory designer. Find her nunofelted pieces at 3 extremely cool boutiques: in Philly at Joan Shepp & Toile Atelier, & Manhattan at I NEED MORE.
You, our client & friend, you who is reading this: know that you are also one of our favorites! Thank you for sharing your styling experience with us, & also, thank you for choosing Crimson to be your style sanctuary.
If you do not already, please sign up below to receive our emails & be sure to check on December 20 for our 2018 gift to you!
It is with a heart full of gratitude that we wish you and yours a happy, healthy holiday season.
