Crimson Hair Studio’s Favorites of 2020
This December is all about celebrating things near & dear to our heart & staying close to home for the holiday! We are shopping local, enjoying nice food & wine, staying healthy, & giving to institutions with important missions. Our favorites this year, are not things, they are artisans, comforts, causes, communities, & self-care & we are thankful for them all!
So, without further ado, may we please present: Crimson’s Favorites, 2020!
Jen Colloton-Eberwein, Crimson Master Stylist and Owners’s favorite thing to do & business to support throughout 2020 has been to visit wineries with outdoor seating. “My absolute favorite has been Cedarvale Winery in South Jersey. All their wines are great, but the Merlot is my all-time favorite. The owners, Marsha & Ed, are great & I’m happy to support their hard work & safe, beautiful environment they have created. Curbside pickup for wine is available, along with outdoor fire pit seating.”
Christmas Tip: Cedarvale Winery is up the street from Bridgeport Raceway where there is a drive thru light show!
Danielle is supporting the best of East Passyunk:
Noord eetcafe & Nice Things Hand Made
Noord eetcafe’s “Dutch Dinner” price fix take out menu, is a delicious & exciting dining adventure!
Nice Things Hand Made is “A little place in south philly, pa filled with handmade goodies from near and far.” View for yourself the awesomeness.
Buddy is supporting Brett’s Bikes, a team close to him who is dedicated to recycling bicycles to underserved kids & adults. Formed in loving memory of a friend’s brother who was taken too early in a motorcycle accident, their collecting, repairing, & giving is making an outstanding impact.
Sherry is also dining on Passyunk at Stogie Joe’s Tavern: their menu is outrageously delicious, especially their award-winning pizza.
Becky is shopping Get LIT Candles custom, soy wax, & hand-poured in upcycled, unique vessels like antique glass or beer cans! Soy wax in itself is carbon neutral so the scents are clean & non toxic.
Lana‘s love of Claudio’s Specialty Italian Foods is so well-deserved: Claudio’s is an Italian Market treasure of time-honored, true deliciousness.
We have featured Jeanne’s friend Annie Sinton Glass in the past, including in-salon sales. Her glass art & jewelry is crafted to create pieces with with high style & beautiful design.
